AOD-9604 is a lipolytic 16-amino acid peptide fragment of human growth hormone, consisting of HGH residues 176-191. Initial human trials showed it retains the lipolytic properties of growth hormone without stimulating IGF-1 production. Its development was terminated in 2007 after later studies failed to demonstrate sufficient lipolytic effect.
